Thomas Named ACC Rookie of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – In his first career start, NC State WR Thayer Thomas was named the ACC Rookie of the Week for his performance in the Pack's 41-7 win over Georgia State this past weekend.

Thomas finished with nine catches for 114 yards and one touchdown. He recorded the highest receiving game total by a Wolfpack freshman since 2011, and he is the first receiver in school history to ever have a 100-yard game that early in his career (second game).

He also completed a 56-yard pass on a backwards pass in the first half.
