NC State to face Wisconsin in ACC-Big Ten Challenge

Pack will face the Badgers for the first time since December 2010

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's basketball team will play at Wisconsin in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, the league announced on Friday.

The match-up will be the third all-time between the two programs. Wisconsin won the first two meetings, defeating the Pack in the 2005 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 and winning the teams' only previous meeting in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge in December 2010.

Wisconsin is coming off a 15-18 season that snapped its NCAA Tournament streak at 19 years. The Badgers return their top eight scorers from last season, including senior forward Ethan Happ who was a first-team All-Big Ten selection last season after averaging 17.9 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 27. Tip-time and broadcast information will be released later.

Additional opponents and dates for the 2018-19 season will be announced at a later date.
