Pack Has Two Named to NFF’s Hampshire Honor Society

RALEIGH, N.C. - Tight end Cole Cook and offensive tackle Peter Daniel, who both played as postgraduates last season, have been named members of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame's 2018 Hampshire Honor Society.
This prestigious group is comprised of college football players from all divisions who maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA throughout their college careers.
Cook played in 51 games, starting 25, during his Wolfpack career and was a key component of the Pack's rushing game, which boasted a 1,000-yard rusher each of the past two seasons. He was a semifinalist for the 2017 William V. Campbell Trophy – given annually to the nation's top scholar-athlete – and was an Academic All-ACC performer. He earned a degree in sport management in July of 2017 after maintaining a career GPA of 3.336.
Daniel, a former walk-on who earned a scholarship prior to the 2017 season, played in 39 career contest and earned his degree in agricultural business in May of 2017 after posting a 3.602 GPA as an undergrad.
