Gallaspy Named Co-ACC Running Back of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State Sr. Reggie Gallaspy, Jr., has been named the co-ACC Running Back of the Week after his record setting performance in the Wolfpack's 34-28 OT win at North Carolina this past weekend.

Gallaspy tied the NC State school record with five rushing touchdowns, accounting for all of the Pack's TDs on the day. That mark is the highest in the Power 5 conferences this year and tied the record for rushing touchdowns against UNC (highest since 1975).

He also rushed for a career-best 129 yards on 27 carries, including all 25 yards in overtime for the Wolfpack road win.

His 16 rushing TDs this season rank second in the Power-5, and are tied for the second-most in a single season in NC State history.
