Pratt and Harmon Named ACC Players of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State linebacker Germaine Pratt and wide receiver Kelvin Harmon were both recognized as ACC Players of the Week after their performances in helping NC State defeat Boston College, 28-23, this past weekend.

Pratt was named ACC Linebacker of the Week. Against the Eagles, Pratt had a game-high 13 tackles, and has now led the Pack in tackles in each game this season. He also helped seal the win in the fourth quarter with a strip and recovery as BC was on the NC State five-yard line. He leads the ACC, and ranks 25th nationally, averaging 9.8 tackles a contest.

Harmon was named ACC co-Wide Receiver of the Week. Against the Eagles, Harmon finished with nine catches for 128 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown. He has gone over 100 yards receiving in three of the last four games (averaging 125.3 yards a game in that span), and has 10 career 100-yard receiving games ranks fourth in school history. Harmon now ranks first in the ACC, and eighth nationally, with 106.8 receiving yards per game.
