RALEIGH, N.C. – After a home win over Boston College to stretch its record to 5-0, the NC State football team has moved into the top-20 in both national polls this week. The Wolfpack is ranked No. 20 by the Associated Press and No. 19 in the Coaches' Poll.
Â
NC State is one of 11 undefeated teams in the BCS, and one of eight Power-5 teams still without a loss this season.
Â
The Pack starts the season 5-0, its best start since 2002, and for only the eighth time in school history. NC State opens ACC action 2-0 for the second straight season, and the fifth time since 2000.
Â
NC State will have a bye week this weekend. Up next is a trip to No. 4 Clemson on Sat., Oct. 20. The Pack and Tigers will be meeting as ranked foes for the second straight year, last year NC State entered the game ranked No. 20 while Clemson was No. 6.
