Finley Makes Top-15 Cut for Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Top 30 candidates for The 2018 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award® Presented by A.O. Smith has been reduced to 15 of the country's top college quarterbacks, after eight weeks of play.

NC State's Ryan Finley has made the cut for the award. He currently leads the ACC, and ranks 11th nationally, with 296.2 passing yards per game. He also leads the conference, and is 14th nationally, with a 68.3 percent passing percentage.

The Golden Arm Award® is organized by the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, Inc. and presented by A. O. Smith. The award has been presented at the end of each season since 1987 to the nations top college quarterback, based on accomplishments both on and off the field.

The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award® Presented by A.O. Smith ceremony will be held on December 7, 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland.
