Chubb Named ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. – Senior defensive end Bradley Chubb was named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week in helping the Wolfpack to a 27-21 win at #12 Florida State in the conference opener this past weekend.

Chubb tallied seven tackles, including five solo stops, and forced a fumble. He recorded a pair of sacks, and three tackles for loss overall against the Seminoles.

In the second quarter, with FSU driving and down just three, QB James Blackman scrambled down to the Pack 22-yardline for a first down, but Chubb came in and forced a fumble, which the Pack recovered to prevent the score. Later in the quarter, with 12 seconds left in the first half, he sacked Blackman for a loss of nine to force the 'Notes to kick a field goal.

Chubb has 3.5 sacks on the season, ranking 15th nationally, and 7.5 tackles for loss thus far, sixth nationally.
