Wolfpack Stays Busy on ITA Summer Circuit
RALEIGH – Continuing their tremendous form from the historic 2016-17 season, several members of the NC State women's tennis team have had successful summers playing on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Summer Circuit.
Commencing the final weekend in June through the last weekend in July, the ITA Summer Circuit consists of 52 events over six consecutive weekends. It allows college players the opportunity to play almost year-round, with the tournaments also being open to high-level juniors and adults holding ITA membership.
Rising sophomore Anna Rogers, who reached the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA Doubles Championships, was victorious in both the singles and doubles at the June 15-17 event hosted by Wellesley College. She returned to the Northeast from July 7-9, taking out the event at Yale, again in both singles and doubles.

Fellow rising sophomore Adriana Reami also finished runner up at the event hosted by Warner University, from July 8-10.
The Wolfpack dominated the event hosted by Elon (July 1-3), with rising junior pair Amanda Rebol and Claudia Wiktorin emerging as champion and runner up, respectively. The duo then teamed up in doubles, capturing the championship.

Rebol was also runner-up at the June 24-26 event, hosted by Florida State.

Bianca Moldovan, also a rising junior, triumphed in both singles and doubles competition at the July 1-3 event hosted by Western Michigan. Later in the month, from July 29-31, she competed at the event hosted by Georgia Gwinnet College, taking runner-up in the singles and teaming up with Rebol to take runner-up in doubles.

With the conclusion of all summer tournaments, the five women will now turn their attention to the ITA Summer National Championships, being held on the campus of TCU at the Bayard H. Freidman Tennis Center in Forth Worth, Texas, from Aug. 12-15.
