Pack Holds First Practice Ahead of trip to Italy

NC State will visit Italy from August 2-12
The NC State men's basketball team held its first practice in preparation for its trip to Italy in August on Thursday night.
The NCAA allows teams going on a foreign tour to have 10 practice days in the summer prior to leaving on the trip.
NC State will travel to Italy from August 2-12. While in Italy, the Pack will visit the cities of Florence, Milan, Rome and Venice.
Thursday's practice was the first at NC State for newcomers Lavar Batts, Jr., C.J. Bryce, Devon Daniels, Allerik Freeman and Sam Hunt.
The 2017-18 season will mark a new era for NC State as Kevin Keatts takes over as the 20th head coach in the program's history. Keatts comes to NC State after leading UNC-Wilmington to three consecutive Colonial Athletic Association titles in his three years with the Seahawks.
