Team NC State Wins $65,000 for Wake County Public Schools, Endowed Scholarship

NC State head coach Dave Doeren and former Wolfpack football/baseball standout Terry Harvey finished in a tie for third today at the 2017 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Resort outside Atlanta. The duo finished the day -8.
With the finish, Doeren and Harvey won $65,000, which will be split evenly between an endowed scholarship at NC State and Doeren's charity of choice: the special education services division of Wake County Public Schools. Â Since its creation in 2007, the event has contributed a total of $6.8 million in scholarship and charity, helping make the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl college football's most charitable bowl game.
