Wolfpack Selected For Albuquerque Women’s Golf Regional

RALEIGH – For the 15th time in 16 seasons, the NC State women's golf team will compete in NCAA Regional play. The Wolfpack will be the No. 6 seed in the Albuquerque (N.M.) Regional, which will be played May 8-10 at the University of New Mexico Championship Course.
The Pack is currently listed at No. 19 in the latest GolfWeek team rankings, and India Clyburn checks in at No. 29 in the latest player rankings. In its last time out NC State finished sixth at the ACC Championships, which was highlighted by Sarah Bae and Laura Kowohl's top 25 individual finishes.
NC State has advanced to the NCAA Championship in three of the last five years.
The top six teams and three individuals (not on a qualifying team) from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship in Sugar Grove Ill., which will take place May 19-24 at the Rich Harvest Farms.
