Full Schedule
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team is set for the 2017 season with the release of a nationally-competitive schedule, as announced by head coach Tim Santoro on Wednesday.
"Again, we've covered both RPI and the top leagues in our non-conference portion," head coach Tim Santoro said. "We start with a very tough opening weekend on the road versus Oregon and Portland and then return home to play, arguably, the best teams in the Sun Belt (Coastal Carolina) and the Ivy League (Princeton), who finished No. 33 in the RPI last year."
"Obviously, the ACC is what it is: the best conference in the country, any sport or gender. Like last year, due to the schedule rotation of who you do and don't play, we have one of the toughest ACC schedules of anyone. But that's life. We handled the same thing last year and will be more experienced and prepared to do so next year. This group is excited for August to arrive and start preseason."
The Wolfpack's home schedule features 10 matches. NC State will welcome ACC opponents Virginia, Boston College, Syracuse, Clemson and Louisville to Dail Soccer Stadium, while traveling to Notre Dame, Florida State, Duke, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.
Last season the Pack faced one of toughest ACC schedules in the conference and finished the season with the second-most wins and points in ACC play in program history.
NC State will host High Point and Wake Forest in exhibitions before formally opening its home schedule with Coastal Carolina August 24th at 7 p.m.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 2017 NC State women's soccer season. Fans can purchase tickets here.
