Guttenberger, King Featured On TDS Top-100 Final Rankings

RALEIGH - Lulu Guttenberger and Tziarra King of the NC State women's soccer team were featured on Top Drawer Soccer's postseason rankings, as Guttenberger checked in at No. 34 on the Top-100 Freshman List while King is 26th on the Top-100 National Player rankings.
King additionally garnered TDS Best XI Third Team honors after finishing fourth in the nation in goals (17) and fifth in points (40). The Sicklerville, N.J., native ranks sixth among the program for most goals in a single season and seventh for most points in a single season and earned All-ACC First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team and ACC All-Tournament Team honors thanks to her stellar sophomore campaign.
Guttenberger, a Velburg, Germany, native, was the only freshman on the squad to start all 22 matches, playing a total of 1,952 minutes this season. She recorded an assist in the team's 1-0 win against Boston College while playing an instrumental role in its 15-5-2 record and 10 shutouts.
Both players contributed to NC State's third-place finish in the ACC regular season standings and first ACC semifinal appearance since 1995. They also played a vital role in the program's first back-to-back ACC Championship berths since 2003-'04 and NCAA Tournament appearances since 1995-'96.
