Chubb Named Bednarik Award Player of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - Yesterday he was named the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week for the third time this season, today defensive end Bradley Chubb was named the Bednarik Award Player of the Week for his performance at Boston College this past weekend.
Chubb finished the game with five tackles for loss for 23 yards, including 2.5 sacks. He also forced a pair of fumbles, one was recovered by the Pack. Overall, Chubb tied his career-high with nine tackles, including six solo stops.

With those numbers, Chubb broke Mario Williams' career records for both career tackles for loss and career sacks and now has 57.5 TFLs and 26 sacks. That TFL mark is tied for sixth in ACC history while the sacks is tied for 18th.
