Pack Ranked 20th in Initial College Football Playoff Rankings

RALEIGH, N.C. - With a 6-2 start, including 4-0 in ACC action, the NC State football team checks in ranked 20th in the first college football playoff rankings of the 2017 season.
The Wolfpack also checks in at No. 20 in the AP Poll and No. 19 in the Amway Coaches' Poll this week. It marks the fourth straight week the Wolfpack has been ranked in the top 20 and the fifth in the polls. The last time NC State was ranked for that many consecutive weeks was in 2002 (8 in top 20, 11 ranked).
