Wolfpack Ranked 23rd in January 9 AP Poll

NC State is 3-1 in ACC play for third time in four seasons

RALEIGH – Following its third 3-1 start to Atlantic Coast Conference play in four seasons, the NC State women's basketball team reentered the top 25 of the Associated Press national rankings Monday at No. 23.
Ranked 29th in the AP poll and 23rd in the USA Today Poll a week ago, the Wolfpack dropped a close 67-64 decision to then No. 14/14 Miami on Jan. 5 before picking up a 65-50 road win at Wake Forest on Jan. 8.
Already in ACC play this season, the Wolfpack (13-4, 3-1) has defeated No. 2/2 Notre Dame (70-62 on Dec. 29) and won at No. 6/7 Florida State (70-61 on Jan. 2).
NC State returns to action at No. 26/25 Syracuse on Thursday, Jan. 12. The Wolfpack returns home on Sunday, Jan. 15 to host No. 12/15 Duke at Reynolds Coliseum.
