Wolfpack Ranked 23rd in USA Today Poll

NC State recently defeated No. 2/2 Notre Dame and No. 6/7 Florida State

RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team (12-3, 2-0 ACC) has returned to the national top 25. On Tuesday afternoon, the voters in the USA Today Coaches Poll ranked the Wolfpack No. 23 in the country with 107 total points.

The Wolfpack recently picked up big wins over No. 2/2 Notre Dame (70-62 on Dec. 29) and at No. 6/7 Florida State (70-61 on Jan. 2).

NC State's appearance in the rankings marks the first time in the top 25 since the Wolfpack was ranked No. 16 in the nation at the conclusion of the 2013-14 season.

The Wolfpack returns to action at home on Thursday, Jan. 5 against No. 14/14 Miami. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum.
