Wolfpack Moves up to #18 in AP Poll

NC State is 5-2 in ACC play with three wins over top-15 opponents

RALEIGH – Off to a 5-2 start to Atlantic Coast Conference play which includes three wins over teams ranked within the national top 15, the NC State women's basketball team (15-5, 5-2 ACC) moved up three spots Monday from 21st to 18th in the January 23 Associated Press poll.
During the past week, NC State had a bye on Thursday, Jan. 19 and defeated Clemson 65-53 inside Reynolds Coliseum on Sunday, Jan. 22. The Wolfpack is 11-1 when playing on Kay Yow Court this season and hosts Pittsburgh on Thursday, Jan. 26 (7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra) before traveling to nearby UNC-Chapel Hill Sunday, Jan. 29 (3 p.m. on RSN).
