Swimming And Diving Continues Top 10 Streak In National Polls

Men and women remain at No. 3 and 9 in CSCAA polls
RALEIGH – The NC State swimming and diving team continues its streak of sitting among the top 10 of the national polls, as the men's team checks in at No. 3 and the women's squad sits at No. 9 in the latest College Coaches of America (CSCAA) rankings, released Wednesday morning.
Both the men's and women's teams have remained among the top 10 of the national polls for the entire 2016-17 season, as this marks the longest streak both programs have done so.
The men's team continues to hold the highest ranking among the ACC, as No. 8 Louisville, No. 13 Virginia, No. 19 Florida State, No. 22 Notre Dame and No. 25 Virginia Tech join the Pack in the top 25. Duke and UNC-Chapel Hill are additionally receiving votes in the poll.
The Wolfpack women sit behind Virginia in the conference standings, as the Cavaliers sit at No. 5 in the latest ranking. Four other ACC schools have checked into the top 25 (No. 10 Louisville, No. 22 Duke, No. 23 Virginia Tech and No. 25 Florida State), while Notre Dame and the Tar Heels are receiving votes.
NC State will continue competition Saturday as the diving team heads to UNCW for a tri-meet with the Seahawks and Gardner-Webb at 11 a.m. inside the Seahawk Natatorium.
The Wolfpack will return home Jan. 27 and 28 for back-to-back ACC duals. NC State will host UNC-Chapel Hill at 5 p.m. on the 27th and Virginia at 4 p.m. on the 28th. The dual with Virginia will be the team's Senior Day meet.
