Rimington Trophy Watch List
RALEIGH, N.C. - For the second straight year, NC State graduate transfer Joe Scelfo has been named to the preseason watch list for the Rimington Trophy. Scelfo joined the team in May after graduating from South Alabama.
The Rimington Trophy is presented annually to the Most Outstanding Center in NCAA Division I-A College Football. A first-team All-Sun Belt performer in 2015, Scelfo was named to the 2015 preseason watch lists for the Rimington Trophy and the Lombardi Award.
Scelfo led USA with six grades of 90 percent or better last season, posting 35 knockdown blocks and not surrendering a sack. He started all 36 games during his three-year career.
