Simon Norenius fell in the NCAA Singles Championships Round of 64 to Elliott Orkin of Florida, 7-5, 6-2. Norenius concludes his senior season with an impressive 25-11 overall mark and an 18-8 record in dual play.

Norenius opened the match and took a 4-3 advantage before ultimately dropping the first set, 7-5. Orkin then carried the momentum to a 6-2 win in the second set.

The senior concludes an excellent season as a NCAA Singles qualifier, a member of the All-ACC team and the ITA Carolina Region Senior Player of the Year.

The team finished the 2015-16 season 46th in the national ITA rankings.
