WASHINGTON, D.C. - The NC State men's basketball team will play in the first game of the 2016 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The Wolfpack, the tourney's No. 12 seed, opens play Tuesday at noon against No. 13 seed Wake Forest.
Tuesday's NC State-Wake Forest winner will play No. 5 seed Duke Wednesday afternoon.
Under Mark Gottfried, NC State owns a 7-4 record in the ACC tourney and three trips to the tournament semifinals.
