Wolfpack Freshmen Honored on Postseason TDS Freshmen Top-100

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team placed four on the TopDrawerSoccer (TDS) Freshmen Top-100 List, joining UCLA as the only programs in the country to have four players honored on the postseason list.

Kristina Schuster, who was recently named to the TDS All-Freshman XI, led the Wolfpack as the No. 8 overall selection. Kia Rankin checked in at No. 24, Tziarra King was ranked No. 28 and Ricarda Walkling rounded out the list at No. 33.

All four freshmen were key starters in the Pack's lineup and combined for 17 goals and 15 assists. The group was also honored on the midseason top-100 list and earned a combined five postseason awards from the ACC and NSCAA.

The honors round out a breakthrough season for the Pack where the team ended the year ranked in the top-25 for the first time since 1995, recorded the program's best RPI and closed out the season with a Sweet 16 appearance at the NCAA Championship.
