Overall thoughts on the match…
"Of course we're thrilled with this historic program win over a top-10 team but more importantly I'm so very proud of this team and staff for just continuing to push to get better and better," said first-year head coach Linda Hampton-Keith. Â "We're at that point in the season where everyone is pushing through to the finish line of the season and we're all battling every day, so I just can't say enough about this team and how they keep working so hard.
Â
"One of the best things about tonight was our resiliency to go up two sets, lose the next two and then to keep our composure going into the fifth and just keep executing when it mattered most. I'm so proud of Teni to get the match-winning kill after a night where she struggled, but yet hung in there and kept finding ways to give this team what we needed when it mattered."
