#PackPros: Seven Former Members of Pack on NFL Playoff Rosters

RALEIGH, N.C. - As the NFL playoffs get underway this weekend, seven former NC State football players are on rosters of teams with hopes of finishing the season with a Super Bowl victory on Feb. 7 in Santa Clara, California. This year marks the second straight year seven former Wolfpack players helped their teams into the playoffs.
Jerricho Cotchery has now helped the Carolina Panthers to the playoffs in each of his first two seasons with the club, this year he finished third on the team in receiving with 39 catches for 485 yards and three touchdowns. The Panthers finished with an NFL-best 15-1 record, and will have this weekend off before hosting the divisional round on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 1 p.m.
Ted Larsen also helped his team to a first round bye, as the Arizona Cardinals won the NFC West with a 13-3 record and finished as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Larsen started 10 games this season at guard for the Cardinals, the first three of the season and the last seven of the season.
The trio of former Wolfpack players in Seattle continue to lead the Seahawks to their recent success, including appearing in the last two Super Bowl. The Seahawks earned the No. 6 seed in the NFC with a 10-6 record, and will travel to Minnesota this Sunday for the Wild Card game at 1 p.m.
Russell Wilson led the NFL in QB Rating this season at 110.1. This season, he threw for career-highs of 4,024 yards, 34 touchdowns, and a 68.1 percent completion percentage. Over the final seven games of the regular season, he threw 24 TDs to just one interception in leading Seattle to a 6-1 record down the stretch.
Steven Hauschka hit on 29-of-31 (.935) of his field goal attempts this season, ranking third in the NFL in field goal percentage this season. He was also a perfect 6-of-6 on attempts of at least 50 yards, and finished the year with 127 points. J.R. Sweezy started the first 15 games of the season at guard for the Seahawks, but missed the regular season finale with an ankle injury.
Additionally, a pair of former Pack players will miss the playoffs due to injury. Audie Cole saw action in the first seven games of the season at linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings before being injured for the season. Rookie offensive tackle Rob Crisp was on the Cardinals' practice squad before being moved onto the IR list.
