Head coach Mark Gottfried and the Wolfpack made some late splashes in recruiting this summer, particularly late in the game. The Pack added an athletic freshman wing in Shaun Kirk in April, then grabbed the Conference USA Freshman of the Year in Torin Dorn. Freshman wing Maverick Rowan, one of the nation's top-ranked players in the high school ranks, was added to the roster in August. And all of that came with veteran guard Terry Henderson becoming eligible this season after transferring to NC State last year.Â
