@PackFootball Coaching Staff to Wear “Coach to Cure MD” Patch This Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. - This Saturday at South Alabama, the NC State football coaching staff will promote awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy by wearing patches during the game.
The initiative, which is in its eighth year, has over 100 FBS school participating, including members of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). To date, the program has raised more than $1.25 million dollars.
Duchenne MD is a disease of progressive muscle loss that, in time, can lead to a decline in respiratory and cardiac capacity. There currently is no cure for the condition.
