RALEIGH, N.C. - The 2015 NC State football season finally kicks off on Saturday when the Wolfpack hosts Troy. A number of new fan enhancements will be noticeable to those walking the grounds of Carter-Finley Stadium.
Â
Numerous concessions improvements have been made for the 2015 season, including in-seat vending for refreshments such as bottled water, lemonade and Coca Cola products and selected food items. A total of 14 additional credit card acceptance points have been added throughout the stadium, as well as 10 additional points of sale.
Â
NC State will implement composting in 2015 trying to move towards zero waste in Carter-Finley Stadium. New compost bins, which are gray with green lids, will be located next to landfill and recycling bins in the stadium (full info on what you can and can't compost).
Â
In-game entertainment added for 2015 include a live DJ, new halftime shows from the marching band, a new fireworks layout for the team's entrance to the field and several contests for fan experience packages.
Â
Additionally, patrons needing assistance on any ticket-related items may visit the new east side satellite ticket office at Gate 10. The satellite office will be open for extended hours beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff until halftime.
Â
In addition to several gameday initiatives already announced, spectators can also take advantage of several other service enhancements.
There will be Mobile Wolf Assist, comprised of several golf carts patrolling the parking lots to aid patrons. Fans with special needs can take advantage of golf cart assistance pre and post-game. Wolf Assist is set up inside stadium gates to help spectators with any questions while on the grounds of Carter-Finley Stadium.
Â
NC State is all offering Park and Ride directly from campus to Carter-Finley beginning 3 hours prior to kickoff. Parking is available at the Coliseum and Dan Allen Decks, and bus stops include Carmichael Gym, Tucker Residence Hall and D.H. Hill Library.
