Hines, Jones Named to Athlon All-Freshman Team

RALEIGH, N.C. - Wolfpack freshman all-purpose back Nyheim Hines and redshirt freshman offensive tackle Tyler Jones were both named to the 2015 Athlon All-Freshman team, which recognizes the top rookies around the country.

Hines, who started classes at NC State last week, gained 7,299 total yards and scored 126 touchdowns during his career at Garner High School. An AP all-state performer, he was ranked the No. 4 all purpose back in the nation by Scout.com in Febuary.

Jones redshirted last season at offensive guard but was the Pack's starting left tackle following 2015 spring drills. He was ranked among the top offensive linemen in the nation following his prep career in Georgia.
