NC State University athletics and men's basketball head coach Mark Gottfried offered the following statements regarding men's basketball assistant coach Rob Moxley:

"Wednesday evening NC State men's basketball assistant coach Rob Moxley was taken to a local hospital where he is responsive, in stable condition and recovering, while surrounded by family. We are in continued contact with the Moxley family. Our thoughts and those of Wolfpack Nation are with Coach Mox and his family and we respect their privacy in this health matter."

"Our first priority is with Rob and his family. He has improved throughout the last 36 hours and we appreciate the support, prayers and thoughts."
