Four Pack Wrestlers Named to All-ACC Academic Team

RALEIGH, N.C. - A total of four Wolfpack wrestlers were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the ACC on Friday. NC State's four selections were the second-best in the conference, only behind Duke's five.
Sophomore Pete Renda, a two-time NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds, was selected for the second straight year. Two-time NCAA Champion Nick Gwiazdowski made the squad for the first time in his career.
Freshmen Nicky Hall and Bryce Meredith, starters at 184 and 133 pounds respectively, were both selected in their rookie seasons.
To be eligible for All-ACC Academic Team consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a minimum 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a minimum 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
