Rifle Announces Four Signees for 2015-16 Season
4/30/2015 12:00:00 AM | Rifle
RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State rifle head coach Keith Miller is excited to announce the addition of four student-athletes to the program for the 2015-16 season. Tyler Lefebvre, William Marciniak, Claire Spina and Cullen Wargo have each signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to compete for the Wolfpack next season.
"We expect this recruiting class to impact our program right off the bat," said Miller. "They're all good shooters, but with the additional training and coaching available on a collegiate team, their individual performances should improve, thus strengthening our team.
"With their addition we become a deeper and younger team. That extra depth helps drive everyone to improve, since there is more competition to make the traveling squad, then the counting team, then the top individual position. As we push ourselves individually, we improve as a group as a result. They add to our youth, as we will have six underclassmen and four upperclassmen during the 2015-16 season."

Miller on Lefebvre: "Tyler is our first recruit from the Taunton Marksmanship Unit, which has produced many strong collegiate shooters. Miller on Wargo: "The Palmyra Sportsmen's Association is one of the country's strongest programs producing young shooters. Multiple NCAA All-Americans trace their beginnings to the Palmyra Club. As our first recruit from that club, Cullen brings the solid background and strong fundamentals inculcated in him there. Thus we expect him to compete for a top spot on the team from day one."
