Wolfpack To Host And Play In Regional At Lonnie Poole

RALEIGH - The NC State women's golf team will be on its home course for the NCAA Regional. The Wolfpack is the No. 11 seed in the 18-team NCAA Raleigh Regional, which will be held May 7-9 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
The regional berth is the 13th in 14 seasons for the Wolfpack, which tied for 10th at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship last May.
The Raleigh Regional is one of four 18-team regionals. The other three sites are St. George, Utah (hosted by BYU); South Bend, Ind., (hosted by Notre Dame); and San Antonio, Texas, (hosted by UTSA). Each regional site also has six individual players competing.
NC State tied for eighth place at the ACC Championship in Greensboro last week and is one of nine ACC women's golf teams playing in a regional.
