GREENSBORO, N.C. - The ACC's coaches voted Trevor Lacey third team All-ACC and BeeJay Anya to the all-defensive team.
Lacey, a second team All-ACC selection by the league's media, averaged 16.1 points per game this season. He was sixth in the conference in scoring while appearing among the league leaders in 3-point percentage (.407), 3-pointers made (2.33), assist-turnover (1.81) and minutes played (35.90). The 6-3 redshirt junior averaged 15.3 points per game in ACC play and posted seven games with 17 or more points. He scored at least nine points in all 18 of NC State's ACC contests.
Anya, a 6-9 sophomore, led the ACC and ranked 20th in the nation with 2.71 blocked shots per game. He set a school single-game record with 10 blocks early in the season and his 84 blocks in the regular season currently stands second on NC State's all-time list. In ACC play, Anya rejected 2.44 shots per game, good for second in the conference.
The media also tabbed Anya to the all-defensive team and also voted him ACC Sixth Man of the Year.
The coaches voted Duke's Jahlil Okafor as ACC Player of the Year and ACC Freshman of the Year. Virginia's Tony Bennett was named by his peers as the league's coach of the year.
