Wolfpack Rifle Set to Compete at SEARC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - The 15th-ranked NC State rifle team will head to Charleston, S.C., this weekend to compete in the 2015 South Eastern Air Rifle Conference (SEARC) Championships hosted by The Citadel.
Action will take place on Saturday, with the first relays slated to start at 7:45 a .m. and the finals will commence at 6 p.m. inside the Inuoye Marksmanship Center.
The Wolfpack has compiled a 21-7 record this season, highlighted by a perfect 18-0 mark against SEARC competition during the regular season.
State has won the event in each of the last three years, firing a team score of 2322 to take the crown at the 2014 championships also held in Charleston.
Junior Alex Martin claimed the individual championship last season and it marked the fifth consecutive year that an NC State shooter has won the individual title.
