
Rifle Concludes Regular Season Action at Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The 15th-ranked NC State rifle team concluded its regular season schedule on Sunday at No. 9 Ohio State. The Wolfpack was joined at the competition by No. 3 Kentucky, the U.S. Coast Guard and the host Buckeyes.
NC State (22-9) finished third at the event with a total team score of 4599, firing a 2350 in air rifle and a 2279 in smallbore. Kentucky claimed the top spot with a team score of 4668 (2363 air rifle, 2305 smallbore), while Ohio State (4641-2307 SB, 2334 AR) and the U.S. Coast Guard (4422-2188 SB, 2234 AR) ended second and fourth, respectively.
Match Notes
- Sophomore Lucas Kozeniesky recorded the Wolfpack's top score in the air rifle (588) and smallbore (577) disciplines. He claimed fourth place in smallbore and finished sixth in air rifle.
- Dani Foster, a redshirt junior from Newport News, Va., finished among the top 10 in smallbore with a total of 576.
