RALEIGH, N.C. – The 16th-ranked NC State rifle team will return to the firing range for the first time in the 2015 calendar year when it heads to No. 9 Memphis on Saturday and No. 17 Ole Miss on Sunday.
Saturday’s contest is slated for a 9 a.m. (ET) start inside the Rangemaster Rifle Range on the University of Memphis’ campus, while Sunday’s tilt will commence at 10 a.m. at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center on the Ole Miss campus.
The Wolfpack (19-7, 0-6 GARC) will be in action for the first time since Nov. 23, 2014, when the squad competed at top-ranked West Virginia. Redshirt junior Dani Foster and sophomore Lucas Kozeniesky headlined the Pack’s performance at that match with aggregate totals of 1158 and 1160, respectively.
Memphis and Ole Miss are also members of the Great America Rifle Conference along with NC State. The Tigers are 1-3 in conference action, while the Ole Miss Rebels are 0-3 in league completion.
