Throwback With The Pack Set For Oct. 17

NC State basketball past and present will be showcased Friday, Oct. 17 when the Wolfpack hosts Throwback With The Pack at Reynolds Coliseum.
The 2014 edition of Primetime With The Pack, Throwback With The Pack, will salute the rich heritage of NC State hoops and showcase historic Reynolds Coliseum before the hallowed venue undergoes a transformational renovation starting in early 2015.
A highlight of this year's festivities will be a throwback game featuring former Wolfpack basketball legends. Former Wolfpackers David Thompson, Tommy Burleson, Rodney Monroe, Chris Corchiani, Julius Hodge and other NC State basketball legends are expected to attend the event.
The focus will then shift to the present, as both NC State basketball programs will be represented and Mark Gottfried's squad will hold an intrasquad scrimmage. The men's basketball team will hold an autograph session at the end of the event.
Throwback With The Pack will be carried in its entirety online on ESPN3. NC State is one of just 12 schools in the country scheduled to have its midnight madness event covered by ESPN networks.
Adam Gold and Joe Ovies from 99.9 The Fan will be the event hosts along with Wolfpack legend and 2004 ACC Player of the Year Julius Hodge. Throwback With The Pack will begin approximately 30 minutes after NC State's volleyball match vs. North Carolina.
Throwback With The Pack will be the final piece to an eventful evening on NC State's campus. The Friday night will begin with Wolfpack men's soccer vs. No. 8 UNC Chapel Hill at 6 p.m. at Dail Soccer Stadium followed by NC State volleyball vs. 12th-ranked UNC Chapel Hill at 6:30 at Reynolds.
Fans are encouraged to park in the Reynolds Coliseum parking deck. Parking and admission to Throwback For the Pack are free. Men's soccer tickets are $5 for adults and free for fans 17 and younger.
