David Amerson turned in another solid game for the Washington Redskins with 4 solo tackles, bringing his season total to 13 so far. The Redskins lost in a 37-34 heartbreaker to division rival Philadelphia Eagles.
Mike Glennon came in for an injured Josh McCown and threw for 17 completions, 121 yards, and 1 touchdown in the 56-14 Thursday night loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Stephen Hauschka connected on 2 field goals and both extra points in the 26-20 OT win over the Denver Broncos.
Nate Irving had another big day for the Broncos, accounting for 13 tackles in the Super Bowl rematch against the Seattle Seahawks.
Ted Larsen and the Arizona Cardinals moved to 3-0 on Sunday in their 23-14 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Manny Lawson had 1 tackle and his first sack of the season in the Bills 22-10 loss against the San Diego Chargers.
Terrell Manning was promoted from the practice squad by the Chicago Bears before their Monday Night 27-19 victory over the New York Jets, and had one tackle on special teams.
Philip Rivers was on fire on Sunday in the 22-10 win over Buffalo Bills, completing 18 passes for 255 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Rivers completed 72% of his passes and averaged over 10 yards per completion.
J.R. Sweezy helped lead block for Marshawn Lynch on the game-winning touchdown over the Denver Broncos, to move the Seahawks to 2-1 on the season.
Stephen Tulloch had 2 tackles and 1 sack before tearing his ACL and ending his season in the 19-7 win over Green Bay.
