RALEIGH, N.C. - Twelve home games - including 10 at PNC Arena - and a December trip to Madison Square Garden highlight the nonconference portion of the 2014-15 NC State men's basketball schedule.
The Wolfpack, coming off its third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament, will host games vs. 2014 NCAA Tournament teams Tennessee and Cincinnati. Boise State, Louisiana Tech and South Florida will also visit PNC Arena. NC State will have three home games during the first week of the season, as the Nov. 14 season opener will be followed by contests against Hofstra and Jacksonville.
Head coach Mark Gottfried's team will head to New York City Saturday, Dec. 20 to play West Virginia in the Gotham Classic at Madison Square Garden. That game comes two years after NC State defeated UConn in MSG.
NC State will face a road test in its ACC/Big Ten Challenge game. The Wolfpack will play at Purdue Tuesday, Dec. 2.
The Pack will spend a weekend in Reynolds Coliseum in December, hosting Charleston Southern and Wofford in the historic building. Charleston Southern visits Friday, Dec. 12 with the Wofford contest two days later.
One ACC home game is also set, a Saturday, Dec. 6 date with Wake Forest at PNC Arena. State's remaining 17 ACC contests will be announced at a later date. In April, the ACC released conference opponents and NC State will host North Carolina, Duke, Syracuse, Virginia and Pitt among other teams.

An increased State of North Carolina ticket tax and a new Wake County ticket tax required for 2014-15 have raised the taxes on NC State Athletic tickets from a total of 3% to 6.75% on all purchases. For clarity, NC State Athletics ticket prices now reflect the base cost of the ticket (goes directly to NC State Athletics) as well as the State (4.75%) and Wake County (2%) taxes.
