BROWNS CREEK, N.C. – The NC State women’s golf team finished 13th in the Bryan National Collegiate, as play concluded Sunday afternoon on the Champions Course at Bryan Park.
State carded a round of 324 (+36) in cold, windy conditions that made scoring difficult during the final round of competition. Duke captured the team title with a three-day total of 882 (+18), while South Carolina, Wake Forest, Florida State and Virginia rounded out the top five.
Brittany Marchand carded a seven-over par, 79, in the final round. She finished tied for 16th overall with a three-day score of 225 (+9). Augusta James competed her final with a nine-over, 81, to finish tied for 21st with a tournament total of 228 (+12).
