Rodon, Turner Tabbed First Team All-America

NC State's Carlos Rodon and Trea Turner have been named to Baseball America's preseason All-America first team, released Monday by the publication.

Rodon and Turner represent the only pair of teammates on the first team, making NC State the lone program in the nation with multiple Baseball America preseason first teamers.

The tandem has landed on preseason All-America lists from NCBWA, Perfect Game, and were joined by co-captain Brett Austin on the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's release.

NC State opens the 2014 season on Feb. 14 at UC Santa Barbara. The Wolfpack's home opener is scheduled for Feb. 21, the first of a three-game series against Appalachian State.
