RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State wrestling team moved into the top-20 in this week’s USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll, as the Pack is ranked No. 20 nationally after entering the poll at No. 23 last week.
“These rankings are a good indication that the handwork and dedication of the entire team is paying off,” said Popolizio. “There is a winning culture that is being created right now, and we are very excited to continue to build off of this success.”
The Wolfpack is off to a 6-2 start in duals this season, with its only losses coming to No. 3 Cornell (20-13) and No. 8 Nebraska (16-15) - each dual came down to the final two matches.
