No. 13 Wolfpack Rifle Primed for Tough Road Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. – The 13th-ranked NC State rifle team is primed and ready for a tough road weekend, as the squad heads to Akron, Ohio on Saturday and Morgantown, W. Va., on Sunday.
State will compete against No. 9 Ohio State and No. 14 Akron on Saturday, before taking on top-ranked West Virginia on Sunday. Saturday’s match will begin at 8 a.m. inside the Robert A. Pinn Shooting Range, while Sunday’s tilt is also slated for 8 a.m. at the WVU Rifle Range.
Akron and West Virginia are also members of the Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) along with NC State.
In its last outing of the season, NC State broke the program record for aggregate total with a score of 4632 and also recorded the best score in school history in smallbore with a 2299 clip. The Pack finished first at SEARC 3.
The Wolfpack enters the weekend with a 19-5 overall record and is 0-4 in GARC action.
