NC State baseball held its Fall World Series over the weekend, with the Jake Fincher-led Black Team sweeping the three-game series. Recap of the weekend's action below.

GAME 1
- Wolfpack BLACK roared back for a walk-off win on a Luke Voiron RBI. Other notable hitters for BLACK were Jake Fincher (2-for-4, SB, BB, 2 R), Preston Palmeiro 1-for-2 (R, 2 BB, RBI, 2B), Joe Dunand (1-for-4, R), and Ryne Willard (1-for-4). Wolfpack RED enjoyed a 3-for-4 performance from Evan Mendoza. Also contributing hits for RED were Andrew Knizner (1-for-5, R) and Josh McLain (1-for-4, R).
GAME 2
- Wolfpack BLACK took the series with a 5-1 win in seven innings. Harris Yett crushed a two-run homer to left to spark the victory. BLACK: Palmeiro (2-for-3, 2B, 2 BB, R, RBI), Fincher (1-for-1, 2 BB, HBP, 2 R), Voiron (1-for-4), Dunand (2-for-4, RBI), Willard (2-for-2, BB, R, RBI). RED: Brock Deatherage (1-for-3, RBI), Jake Armstrong (1-for-3, 2B), Chance Shepard (1-for-3), McLain (2-for-4).
GAME 3
- Wolfpack BLACK completed the sweep with a 2-1 comeback win led by Willard's 3-for-4 outing with a pair of doubles. BLACK: Fincher (1-for-4, R), Palmeiro (1-for-4, RBI), Voiron (1-for-3). RED: Logan Ratledge (1-for-3, HR, RBI, R), Storm Edwards (1-for-2, BB, SB).
