Rifle Set for SEARC 2 at The Citadel

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team will travel to Charleston, S.C., this weekend for the second South Eastern Air Rifle Conference (SEARC) match of the season on Saturday. The event will be held at the Inuoye Marksmanship Center hosted by The Citadel.
At the first SEARC match of the season, the Wolfpack (6-0, 6-0 SEARC) finished first with a total score of 4555. State's four counting shooters recorded a score of 2293 in the air rifle discipline and a 2262 in smallbore.
Redshirt junior Dani Foster made an immediate impact in her return to the lineup, after sitting out the 2013-14 season with an injury. She fired the highest score of the day in both events, charting a 586 in air rifle and 570 in smallbore.
Two freshmen also made their collegiate debuts at the event, as Caitlyn Ford shot a 577 in air rifle and classmate Derya Pekari tallied a 567.
