Rifle Set for GARC Opener Against Nebraska

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team will open competition in the Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) when it takes on the Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday in Charleston, S.C. The match is slated to begin at 8 a.m. inside the Inuoye Marksmanship Center on The Citadel's campus.
In its last outing, the Wolfpack (12-0) finished first at the second South Eastern Air Rifle Conference (SEARC) match of the season with an aggregate score of 4587. The Pack fired a 2314 in air rifle and a score of 2273 in smallbore.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers enter the match with a 2-1 record on the season after defeating Ole Miss and Murray State last weekend. Nebraska is currently ranked 9th in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA).
