Wolfpack Hosts Season-Opening Media Day

With just days left before the official start of practice, Mark Gottfried and the NC State men's basketball team met with the media Wednesday afternoon to tip off the 2014-15 season.
The 16 players on the 2014-15 edition of NC State men's basketball showed off their new uniforms, new court design and new roster for the first time heading into the start of
practice Monday, Oct. 6.

After the players spent 30 minutes on the floor in uniform with photographers and local TV, radio and print media, Gottfried gave his address at the podium. The head coach, who has mentored NC State to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, covered everything from the team's improvement on defense to the challenge of replacing 2014 ACC Player of the Year T.J. Warren.
