RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State rifle team opens the 2013-14 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 21, when it travels to Lexington, Va., for the first South Eastern Air Rifle Conference (SEARC) match of the season.
Last season the Wolfpack won the SEARC championship for the second consecutive year and claimed its seventh title in program history. The squad only lost one shooter from last season's roster - graduate student Bryan Cross.
Everyone on the 2013-14 roster will make the trip to Virginia, with the exception of junior Dani Foster, who will not make the trip due to injury.
This will be the Pack's first trip to the range at the Virginia Military Institute in nearly 10 years. Freshman Lucas Kozeniesky will make his collegiate debut at the match, along with George and Sarah Williams, who will compete for the first time in their careers after redshirting last season.
Results and a recap will be posted to GoPack.com at the conclusion of the match.
